How did you quit smoking?

There are lots of different ways to quit smoking.  We recommend quitting "warm chicken" instead of "cold turkey"--that means we recommend using the Quit SmartTM method to help reduce withdrawal symptoms and tackle all three aspects of nicotine addiction.  Here are some testimonials from people who participated in our Stop Smoking Successfully! classes at Clark Memorial Hospital:

"I tried to quit smoking several times over the years, and I have been most successful with Stop Smoking Successfully, and the QuitSmartTM plan. The classes were informative and the facilitator and classmates provided great support.  Plus, I know that I can call the Coalition or repeat the classes if I feel the need.  I still use the hypnosis CD three times a week.  I strongly recommend this program." -Sue T.

"The most effective part of the Stop Smoking Successfully program, for me, was the brand switching.  Also, having the class Quit Date decided by the facilitator took the pressure off me.  This is a very good program." -Jack S.
